Professional Football League outfit Sunshine Stars might come under the hammer of the League Management Company over unpaid wages to former Nigeria U23 international Stanley Dimgba and Ojo Mine.

The Akure based side could be banned from registering new players and other disciplinary actions for flaunting Section B Article 9.45 of the 2015-2016 NPFL-LMC Framework and Rules.

The aforementioned players are being owed approximately N6 million by Sunshine Stars and they are passing through difficult times, with Mine kicked out of his house and arrested by the Police this week due to accumulated unpaid rent.

The players' intermediary Endurance Ogbemudia explained to allnigeriasoccer.com : '' In December 2016, we wrote officially to the League Management Company of the indebtedness of Sunshine Stars to my clients Stanley Dimgba and Ojo Mine in wages and other remuneration amounting to about N3 million each, which is a total of N6 million for both of them.

''They were contracted to Sunshine Stars in the 2015-16 season and terminated their contracts over unpaid wages which LMC wrote Sunshine FC on the indebtedness without responses.

''Most NPFL players are passing through a lot in Nigeria, reason they will prefer to move to an obscure league abroad where their salaries are certain rather than work in Nigeria and suffer to get their wages.

''It is time LMC halt this ugly trend being perpetrated by these clubs which is affecting the development of the league and image of the NPFL.''

Ogbemudia added that the abnormalities were brought to the attention of Shehu Dikko, but the Chairman of the LMC directed him to the Compliance Officer, who assured him that the issue is being given the necessary attention.

But at this moment, Dimgba and Mine are yet to get a dime of their hard earned money from Sunshine Stars.
