Samsung’s ambitions to introduce the world’s first foldable smartphone seem to be finally getting off the ground as the South Korean company has got its Galaxy X foldable smartphone certified in its home country. The South Korean certification body has certified Galaxy X (model number SM-G888N0), as per a report.

According to a report by LetsGoDigital, spotted by GSMArena, the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) has given approval for radio connectivity on Samsung’s alleged foldable smartphone. As we said, the smartphone, which has been passed by the South Korean regulator equivalent to US FCC, bears a model name SM-G888N0, which doesn’t really shed any light on the what the final device will look like. However, the ‘N0’ part at the end of the model name suggests a Korean model.
