'I Have Sang' Or 'I Have Sung' by sirkaebs: 8:17am On Oct 02, 2017 |
Dear Nairalanders, please I really need your contribution on this matter. As a child, I learnt that we use 'have' or 'had' when using past participle in tenses of verb. And I also know that the tenses of the verb 'sing' are 'sing, sang and sung' for present, past and past participle, respectively. Often times I hear people, when they want to refer to someone that sang a song in the past participle tense, they will say 'I have sang a song' or 'We have sang'. I am thinking it is supposed to be ''I have sung' or 'had sung'. Although I may be wrong, I need constructive contributions. Thank you. |

I have sung... Why ? Cos 'have' is the helping verb. He sang the song. They sang the song. 2 Likes |
