Oscar Fact: Meryl Streep hasn't won an Oscar in 26 years. The last time she won was in the 1983 ceremonies for Best Actress in the movie "Sophie's Choice" (1982). Meryl Streep has received 16 Academy Award nominations since 1978 and she has won it twice.
