Another Pandemonium In Oleh Delta State Over Alleged Forced Immunization At Scho by Rotji(m): 9:48am On Oct 12, 2017
This morning parents and guardians were seen even as at now running helter skelta picking their children and wards from schools here in Oleh Delta State. The rumour is that soldiers have stormed schools and are giving out immunization to children in schools by force, this is even against the Circular issued out by the state government yesterday (below) that people should disregard such baseless and false mischievous rumours. We haven't even recovered from the stupid rumour of yesterday at Anambra and now this?

A Security driver here who was apprehensive wanted to to also rush and pick his child from school, I told him to go and see things for himself and if he comes across any soldier in the school he should meet them and find out why they are there. Well he came back awhile ago and said the school has shut the gate and is not allowing anyone to pick children or any other people giving immunization.

Bottom line is the people behind this misnomer and mischievous rumours will only end up hurting themselves and their loved ones, it's very bad when people who are supposed to be enlightened fall for such cheap, ignorant and stupid lies.

Below is the Delta State Circular
Breaking....Government Special Announcement

The attention of the Delta State Government have been drawn to the fact that parents and guidance are going to schools to withdraw their children and wards out of panic.

This panic measure is based on the falsehood and rumors making the rounds that some persons or groups are going to schools to forcefully inject children to death.

Government hereby states without equivocation that there is no iota of truth behind this rumour as there is no vaccination currently going on in schools across the State.

The state government has advised school heads to ensure optimum security in their schools by paying attention to all children and wards until the close of schools when parents or guardians come to take them home.

Accordingly, the state Government has by this announcement advised Security agencies to be on the alert and to nip in the bud the antics of mischief makers who may want to take advantage of this falsehood and rumour to cause havoc.

Residents of the state are advised to be calm and go about their normal businesses.

Signed
Patrick Ukah
Honourable Commissioner for Information
Delta State.
