Can One Change From Urban/regional Planning To Any Other Engineering Course? by Brightutoon(m): 3:23pm On Oct 17, 2017
Hello guys please I need help. My bro applied for Electrical/electronic engineering in Port Harcourt polytechnic, Rivers state but he was given Urban/regional planning to study. This is not his dream course. I wish to know if after studying this course in the poly if he can opt to any engineering course in any university?
Advice me please!....

If he has the requirement, he can opt for Civil Engineering after his National Diploma.

Civil Engineering And Environmental Engineering are the only bridges between School of Engineering and School of Environmental/built environment. they are also most related to Urban & Regional Planning.

MY OPINION: I THINK HE SHOULD NOT CHANGE. HE WILL NEVER REGRET STUDYING TOWN PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE, OR SURVEYING. I'M TALKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Only say small stress dey sha.
