Ephesians 6 vs 12.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Points to note: a)

We wrestle not against Flesh and Blood. Fight, struggle, etc.

They are not flesh and blood. You are. They are not.

They try to affect our spirit through our minds

( that is the only thing that connects us to the Spiritual world)

They force you to do what you don't want, torment you, scare you, afflict you.

In physics, Nothing moves or change it's position except a force acted on it.

Our normal state of mind at Creation is to be at peace. When men fell, there is a change.

This change is as a result of evil Spiritual forces. Now, these forces influence our minds

and torment people.

(b). Note their hierarchy:. Principalities, Powers, Ruler of Darkness of this world

and Spiritual wickedness in high places.

Principalities are the category of Anti Christ, or the beast as mentioned in Revelation. I hope you know what he is capable of.

He can't operate directly on Earth now. Extreme Evil and Wickedness.

But he and the head of them all, the (devil) affect the world through sex, music, finance, government, etc.

Powers are both celestial and terestial in their interaction with human. They are below Principalities.

In the book of Daniel, the Prince of Persia fall under this category.

There is a price of Nigeria. A demon

There is a Prince of Abuja, Kaduna, etc.

There t a Prince of Africa. A Demon.

They are in charge of continents, countries, etc.

Even a street. A demon is in charge.

Rulers of Darkness of this world.

Lesser demons. They posses men. They are behind the operation of witches, babalawo, wizards, cults, spells, magic, etc.

Spiritual wickedness in high places.

These do not inhabit men. Unlike Rulers of darkness of this world.

They only Spirits. They hinder blessings,

They work when a curse is being pronounced etc.

People of God, these are the spirits we wrestle with.

Evidence and their works.

Physical Evidence:

Doctors will diagnose a patient. From one local hospital to international.

and Nothing will be found to be wrong with the patient. Yet, he or she is in Pains.

Medical cases that are beyond medicine.

Bermuda triangle and Cape of good hope.

There is a
Sudden disappearance of ships and aircraft that are beyond human explanation whenever they pass these places.

A sudden surge of human hair and head. As if your hair stands up.

Job 4 vs 15 also confirms this.

A mad man ( Not all madness are demonic) breaks chains of metals as tho he was extraordinary.

Men disappear whenever they command it.

Bullet not entering a human body.

( I have seen this with my naked eye)

( The strength is not physical. We don't have that power as flesh.)

Someone was flogged in the dream and red marks of cane appear in the physical.

These are physical evidence of their existence.

Let's look at their works.

1. A widow who lost her only son.

2. Someone who is bent for decades.

3. Sudden death. Some people will struggle until it is time to reap their labour. Then he or she dies.

4. Lack of good sleep at night.

5. Failures and depression.

6. Murder and Sucide.

7. Self Inflicting injury.

( In a well known national dalies a man said he heard voices that he should cut his manhood. He did and was rushed to the hospital.)

8. Alcoholism, sexual addiction, doing drugs, etc can be natural.

However, a Demon can take over any Natural means of pleasure to use it against such fellow

Either to destroy him or use him as a source of pains for family members or friends.

Sicknesses can be natural.. A demon can also take over to use it to inflict pains and poverty. U spend all you have on it.


I will be a more potent enemy IF YOU DON'T KNOW ME.

The devil/ demons work well when you are ignorant of them. Or when you believe that they don't exist.

From what we have discussed so far,

1. Witches, wizards, babalawo, cultists, etc have powers.

YOU CAN NOT RUN AWAY FROM THEM.

A man existed with a demon.

The demons in this man were many. Between 1000 and 5000.

No man could bind him. Chains we're broken in pieces by this man

No man could tame him.

When he saw Jesus, he said:

The begged Jesus. A legion of Demons.

The demons in the man pleaded with Jesus with much vigour that he should not send them out of the country.

Jesus permitted them to enter into pigs that were near by. About 2000 pigs.

Jesus gave the permission and they entered into the pigs.

The pigs ran into the sea immediately and perished.

Then people around saw it and asked Jesus to leave the area.


Lesson from the passage:

1.1000 demons can inhabit a man.

2. They prefer to live in humans: In the story we read, they pleaded for inhabitation in animals. Like an option

3. Human spirits are strong. As soon as they enter the pigs, the pigs ran into the river and perished. They could not contain that number.

4. The man lived in isolation.

5. They begged Jesus not to torment them. How? by casting them into Hades or the deep.
There, they would be tormented before release.

1. Acknowledge that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

Give your Life to him

2. Fill yourself with the word of God.
and live a holy life.

3. Ask for the filling of the holy spirit.

4. Ask whatever you want in prayers of faith.

They can't come close to you.

You will become a terror.

Anytime you notice their activities,

Rebuke and cast them out in Jesus name.

That settles it.

He is Jesus.

And every knee must bow to him.

You should not be under any bondage.

They don't do good.

It may appear as if they do.


They are incurably evil


If you don't know about their activities,

They will work freely.

There is a Protocol Or Principle that God has laid, even before the foundation of the World.

He didn't break it. He had to follow the rules.

The same Anoiting is the same Holy Spirit.

The holy Spirit that will heal Common Cold is the one that will cast out Demons.


Prayer and Fasting as mentioned by Jesus talk about the Help from above to increase One's faith.

Did you read what Jesus said before mentioning The issue of prayer and fasting?

Faith is needed to cast out demons.

A Deliverance minister commanded a demon to go out of a host.

The demon groaned and said...." You cannot cast me out"

The demon further said..." You that like to eat. You eat a lot"


The minister answered " What business of yours is that?"

The minister got angry and left. He went to a restaurant and bought pounded yam and ate. Filled his stomach and came back.

He told the DEMON, " I have gone to eat again." Now, In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,

Come out of him.

That was the end of the battle. The man was freed.
