StarTimes just announced it’s daily Subscription tagged “Pay By Day” via its Twitter page.
According to the company, this latest innovation will take effect from November 1st.
With its Twitter handle, StarTimes broke the good news in a series of tweets thus:

This development comes just a few weeks after the launch of Nigeria’s first indigenous satellite television, Telcom Satelite TV, otherwise known as TSTV.
TSTV came into the satellite TV industry in Nigeria with something very different from what the current industry players were offering its consumers.
It is the first Nigerian TV to launch a Pay-as-you-use service, so you can pause your subscription whenever you are traveling. Unlike most existing companies also, TSTV is cheap.
With just N5000 one can buy the decoder and dish and subscription prices are N200, N500, N1000, N1500 and N3000 respectively.

Considering this first-of-its-kind, mind-blowing offer, Nigerians took it upon themselves to advertise the new company, forcing the current service providers to reconsider their modus operandi or risk loosing their customers to the latest rave.
TSTV had announced that its full operations will begin on November 1, same date fixed for the commencement of StarTimes daily subscription package.
Reacting to the news, most StarTimes customers could not hide their excitement even as they attributed the new development to ‘fear of TSTV’.
