The management of University of Ibadan (UI) has announced plans to withdraw 580 100 level students from the institution.

The University` Vice Chancellor, Professor Abel Olayinka, said this while lamenting over poor performance of the students.

Olayinka said 580 of the 2,961 students admitted into the University last year performed woefully in their first semester examination.

And they all passed their WAEC Exams in flying colors with distinctions all through, even Jamb, they Jam am scatter too, ordinary 100 level courses which were supposed to be revision of their secondary school work they cannot cope, don't blame them, when most of them were being helped at special centers by their parents.
