if it was only the power then fed won't worry cos everyone playing the game has power. the problem is the power mixed with the speed and coourt coverage, i mean nothhing gets past that guy. he must touch every ball. the spin he puts on the balls too is too much

I just hope he transforms his form on clay to the other surfaces too then we'll see a better showdown between Nadal and Federer.

i know will be facinating. if they meet in the fin als or anytime jare it would be nice to see the show down

Nadal will not have it so easy on other surfaces, he has a great advantage on clay. Excellent footwork, fantastic passing shots, too much spin on his shots - the ball bounces so high on clay its difficult to do better than send a tame shot to the ceter court and of course Nadal is waiting to pounce.

On grass, the ball does not bounce that high and the courts are slicker and faster. Nadal wont have that many chances to make his shots. But if he can adapt fast (he's only 21), no one would be able to beat him in a few yrs on any surface.

Berdych ruined Baghdatis' birthday today when he beat him in the final.

Fourth-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych dropped just two points on his first serve in a 7-5, 6-4 win over eighth seed Marcos Baghdatis to win the Halle title, one year after finishing runner-up to Roger Federer.

Berdych, 21, clinched his first title since winning ATP Masters Series Paris in late 2005. It was his third career title.
