Honourable Theresa Gladys Kokorwe from Botswana emerged the new President of the Commonwealth parliamentary Association as the immediate past President Hon Acho Ihim handover to her. Hon Gladys Theresa has been the Speaker of the National Assembly of Botswana, a post she has held since 12th November 2014. She has a Diploma in Public Management from the University of Connecticut, United States of America. She has served the Governemnt of the Republic of Botswana in various capacities for 23 good years before venturing into politics in 1994. Hon Gladys Presented an Award to the immediate past President of CPA Hon Acho Ihim for his selfless service,dedication towards the development of the CPA Africa Region as president from 2016 to 2017.
