Facebook is a multi-billion dollar social networking site that (...), well, who doesn't know Facebook? Here are things you probably didn't know:

1. Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook from his room.

The young blonde billionaire founded it right in his room!

2. It didn't start as a social network. Right back in 2003, it was called FaceMash , used for comparing who's hotter in two students' pictures.

3. Mark got expelled from school because of Facebook. After its launched (then FaceMash), for having copyrighted items on site among other charges.
.
4. Mark allegedly deceived his school and students. According to allegation, it was said that, he deceived some students into creating a school's website, rather he made a personal investment.

5. 'Harvard connection' to 'The Facebook.' It was supposed to be a school's portal. Mark changed its name from FaceMash to 'TheFacebook,' a supposed 'The Facebook of Harvard.'

6. Mark bought a domain. Mark bought the domain name 'facebook.com' in 2005 for $200,000.
.
7. Yahoo's envy. Facebook growth arose envy. Yahoo sued Facebook for reasons know to be irrelevant.

8. Bigger companies wanted to buy Facebook. MySpace, MicroSoft, Google etc., all wanted to buy Facebook, Mark resent a big 'NO.'

9. Whatsapp was bought. On February 19, 2014 Facebook announced its ownership of WhatsApp Inc., a smartphone instant messaging application for $19 billion in a mix of stock and cash.

10. Mark wore cheap clothes. Unlike common million worth singer who would show-case their money on million worth clothes, Mark maintains a casual look, nothing special. Not some kids spending their parent's money coming to tell us they've got thirty billion naira (daddy's money).
