Direction simply means information or orders telling you what to do. Direction helps you you helps you to take steps in the journey of destiny. Every step you take in life either takes you forward or backword. One of the worst thing that can happen to a man is to lack an idea of where he is going and how to get there. Many have rushed into certain open doors, only to discover they were traps in disguise.Others have been deceived by the glitter of certain careers or business propositions and have come to realize that all that glitters is not gold. We need God's direction because the decisions we make in life are based on our personal assessment, which may not be absolutely correct. Everything may seem absolutely right and satisfactory to the human eyes but at the end leads to frustration.A man without the right direction is like an accident waiting to happen. You may be thinking, 'Does it mean that I cannot simply sit down and plan what I want to do and pursue it? What is all about this ado about direction?. Please understand that you are limited as human being, hence you need God's guidance. You need to be divinely directed, because misdirection can lead to many years of setbacks and can even wipe out man's destiny. You may have a dream or vision, but without direction,i mean divine direction, you end in frustration!. That is not your portion. Vision is the unfolding of God's master plan,whereas direction is the steps you take to accomplish it. Perhaps, you have been called into fashion, business,preaching or politics etc. Wonderful! That is calling or vision. But how do you go about it? That is where you need direction. There is no short cut to excellence in life without vision. Many are frustrated today because there are being driven by ambition rather than vision. As a result, nothing works for them, rather everything they do just fall apart. Some others have used their friend's profession as a yardstick to determine what they ought to do in life. But there is no need for comparison because God has a glorious plan for every one in the kingdom. The cheapest way out of frustration is to abide and obey God's direction for your life. Divine direction is a life time demand. You will never get to a point in life where you will no longer require direction. It is not possible!. Life without direction is nothing but continuous frustration. You need God's wisdom if you want to reach your destination (destiny) in life. King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 10:10 ....'but wisdom is profitable to direct. This means divine wisdom is what reveals the 'how to' of every given task, and that 'how to' is what is called DIRECTION. Until you give attention to God's directions, the world will not pay any attention to you. It is those who hold unto this commandment that become commanders.
