Ministry of health in Nigeria don't know their jobs or responsibilities.

Nigeria is a zoo where government officials from federal, states and Local governments are only in government to do stealing.

Which ministry will take responsibilities of this, in this APC and APGA's controls government?

I wonder.

When was the last time anyone saw a clean abattoir?
It is full of flies & filth.

Even fresh meat in the market has flies all over it.

Unhygienic condition of foodstuff/meat causes a lot of deaths in Nigeria yearly.

Do you both have brains?

It is even obvious to all Nigerians that almost all abbatiors are run by Northerners and few Yorubas.

Have you ever seen an Igbo man selling suya?
Grow up Tribalists.

Both of you needs brain format.

Abi it's you that doesn't have a brain. So meat is only used for Suya? Mumu

Na wa for this kind of topic.

We all know yes we all know that all abbatoirs in Nigeria all look exactly alike.
We all put extra effort in washing the meat we buy every time.

But nairaland even knowing how tribalistically sensitive everyone is in the country these days put this up to front page.Goes to show how divisive a lot of us can be and help in brewing more hate.
Some people on here just made themselves believe there are very hygienic abbatoirs in other parts of Nigeria.

If you like buy meat no wash am well.even the one you kill at home

To be honest, none of our abattoir meets the international regulatory standard for meat processing though some abattoirs are worse to others just like the ones mentioned by orientdailynews.

please mention anything in Nigeria that meets international regulatory standards? Is it Nigerian Police that meet? Or NEPA (Discos) that meets? Or Nigerian markets? Or Nigerian roads? Or Nigerian politics? Or Nigeria stadiums (Lagos national stadium)? Or Nigeria airports? Or Nigeria railways? Or Nigerian telecommunications? Or Nigeria environment? Or Nigeria waste management? Or Nigeria health sector? Or Nigeria gutter media houses? Or is it Nigerian universities?

The truth is that when you travel out or see the ways things are done in other countries, you will see and know that virtually everything in Nigeria is below international regulatory standards.
