This Yabatech thread comes at a good time, .a neighbour was asking me last night if I know if the PART-TIME FORM is out in Yabatech for 2017/2018 session.

How much?
When is it closing?
How much is the school fee?

Hope someone can help with this.
Nothing pertaining to this on the school website.

I feel you have a misplaced priority, how can you study in iron and want to come to Yabatech to study, aren't you suppose yo go to somewhere like maritime university of Ghana, study more in your Field and become a successful Chief engineer in a ship or more..... Why killing a dream that has begun??

If you didn't meet up with the cut off mark, you can do a change of course.

Although, if your score is close to the cut off, you may still be admitted.

I understand Bro but I think it wasn't meant to be. It kills me inside. It's too bad I can't fight for this dream. financially do you know if I can afford to study in Ghana? Though Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron is costly but Ghana will be a different thing.
I think I have a failed career. It has happened to many. Early in life I discovered my talent. I have always been passionate about computer. I did magical things. I was always needed especially by phone users. I solved many problems for people. Many people advised me to study computer science after highschool but I didn't see what they saw. Now it's clear to me.
When life tells you “no" ask yourself honestly
What am I capable of?
This dream of becoming a marine engineer and being a chief engineer someday is dead but I must find another outlet and that's doing what I love. doing what I have passion for.
I hope you understand. Thanks for your concern.

If I were you, I would have gone to make findings on where repairs and maintenance of boats are done. It depends on where you are based though. I think Rivers state has these places.

I would become an apprentice for about 3 years and learn how diesel engines work. If it means you have to pay for the training, then pay it if you have the cash. You need to humble yourself and be very focused so you can learn it.

Most apprenticeship programmes accept installmental payments. You may be asked to serve your trainer for another year.

Based on your competence, you would start earning from it while you're on training. This would be in the final stages of your training though.

Note: I am not a trainer or trainee. It is just a suggestion.

Bro. Read what he wrote. He said he's no more passionate about ships or boats anymore but rather he loves and wants to study computers. I bet you didn't read what you quoted.
