Ugandan Singer Winnie Nakanwagi alias Winnie Nwagi has come out to support the save music campaign, a movement by musicians demanding 90% of digital and print media exposure. During an interview with Kansanga based Galaxy FM, she said, “You see we need to be selfish and think of ourselves first before others. You can never hear a Ugandan song play in Nigerian, never.” She also added that collaborating with Nigerian singers is not worth it because many of them will not push the song in their homeland yet the songs become hits in Uganda.
