AT ABOUT 121250A NOV 17, OWN QRF LED BY CAPT T MANI (N/14430) WHILE ON ROUTINE DUTY OF PROVIDING SY TO CHURCHES DURING THE SUN SVC RESPONDED TO A DISTRESS CALL FROM A LOC THAT OWN SLDR 93NA/36/2608 SSGT SILAS NINYO WAS BEATING CIVS FOR UNKNOWN REASONS. THE OFFR AND SOME QRF PERS SWIFTLY MOV TO THE SCENE. OFFR SUCCESSFULLY REL THE CIVS. HOWEVER IN AN ATTEMPT TO DISARM THE SNCO, THE SLDR FIRED AT AND KILLED THE OFFR. THEREAFTER, THE SLDR 93NA/36/2608 SSGT SILAS NINYO ALSO FIRED AND KILLED HIMSELF. BODIES OF THE DECEASED OFFR AND SLDR HAVE BEEN EVAC AND ENROUTE TO 23 BMC MORTUARY IN YOLA. DETAILED INCIDENT RPT TO FOL AS A BOI HAS BEEN INITIATED. TPS ARE ON MAX ALERT TO AVERT ANY UNTOWARD INCIDENCE. PSE ACK. (PICS ATT). Capt T mani member 58RC was shot dead by a soldier in chibok, the soldier was fighting a girl in chibok town, Oga T mani separated the fight and asked the soldier to move to camp,as the capt turned back the soldier shot the offr and himself. RIP TO THE DEAD..
