First of all I will like to establish one fact that not all repair shops are created equally, today premium cars run on high-tech computers which requires quite a bit of training and finesse to understand, for some shop they are limited in some diagnostic work due to lack of equipment. For instance for Benz, Star device is used as diagnostic tools, Toyota is using Tstream,Ford is using Rotunda.Please be sure of the tools your car was diagnosed with because car problem are rarely that easy to diagnose.The code or DTC is like a blood sample when you are treating a patient as a doctor so is very important.Above all stick to routine maintenance to avoid costly repairs.
