Should Parents Consider Their Children As A Retirement Plan? by DeLioncourt: 7:03am On Nov 20, 2017
This question caused a small commotion on Twitter last night and I thought I should bring it here..
Should Parents consider their Children as a retirement plan?

Some argued that parents sacrifice everything for their kids, so the kids should in fact be their retirement plan.
Others argued otherwise.

Personally, i feel it's bullsh*t. Being a child is not a choice. Being a parent is.
Children should take care of their parents, yes.. but they should not be considered as a retirement plan.

What do you guys think??

I agree with the op. Every child grows to have and pursue their own dreams and maybe raise families. So it's not a healthy for a parent to risky planning for their retirement in hopes that their children will see them through. What if the children die or are not financially stable enough to cater for them. Everyone should have a plan for their lives. depend on others at your own risk.
