The Vice Chancellor made this known yesterday, during a valedictory senate session organized in memory of the fallen professor of human physiology at the Senate chamber.

The Vice Chancellor also noted the role the deceased played in ensuring the full accreditation of Physiology programme by the National Universities Commission, stressing that “he was a man of character and values… a man of colour.”
He further consoled the bereaved family on the irreplaceable loss, stressing that the worthy legacies of the late Nneli would continue to speak for him in the years to come.
The emotion-laden event which also involved the lying in state of the remains of the deceased at the administrative block saw staff of the University paying their last respect to the departed astute professional.
