Akermas Energy is an indigenous company incorporated to deliver value added services to her clients. We aim at providing engineering and integrated solutions in developing new facilities, and highly conversant with classification rules & other standards and codes for Oil and Gas.


JOB SUMMARY
Structural engineers understand and calculate the stability, strength and rigidity of built structures for buildings and nonbuilding structures, to develop designs and integrate their design with that of other designers, and to supervise construction of projects on site.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design the of structure of building and houses in a way such that, it can meet all the requirements of the clients within the needed time span.
• Checks and examines whether the structures and buildings are structurally well or not.
• Calculate and estimate the pressure, weather and stress that the component of a house or building may face from different disasters such as floods, erosion etc.
• Analyses the basic structures and several components of building and houses.
• Checks the quality of the numerous materials such as brick, steel, timber etc. that are used for the construction of buildings.
• Use computer and advanced technologies for constructing the best structure.
• Can deal with problems related to the bend, twist, and collapse of buildings and houses.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, and able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety in the workplace. Technical and mechanical knowledge in the field, and architecture. You will also possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Should have a broad knowledge base relating to maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels.
• Technical and mechanical knowledge of the field.
• Administration experience relating to the inspection process.
• Ability to plan and organize timelines and also assess and improve technical work.
• Possess the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Ability to interpret and explain design issues by reviewing and creating visual demonstrations.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Strong communication skills.
