The Anti-HIV/AIDS CDS group of Odeda Local Government Area, Ogun State organised a sensitization programme at Camp Bus Park, Abeokuta.

The sensitization commenced at 9am with an address by the president of the CDS group, Mr. Abdulfatai Wasiu Iretiayo. He emphasized the need for the sensitization themed 'Getting to Zero: Zero new HIV infections, Zero discrimination, Zero AIDS related deaths' , and he solicited everyone’s cooperation to ensure a successful sensitization.

The corp members were divided into sub groups which spread out to the streets of camp and its environs carrying placards in English and Yoruba languages to reinforce the message of prevention, early detection and adherence to drug in HIV positive patients.

Students, market women, traders, young and old alike were educated on the need for early detection to ensure a healthier positive life.

They were encouraged to get tested and to access drugs in certified health facilities. Condoms were also shared to members of the community.
