In 2003, my father bought my sim card 17,000 and my sony ericsson T600 for 13k, i was feeling fly in school then cos twas the hottest phone back then.

Bought my first phone, Motorolla V50 + MTN sim card for 54,300k. . . . then there was a promotion called BOGOF (buy one get one free), so i got a free motorolla talk-about with an extra MTN line. . .

Funny how this sim cards has reduced drastically to 200 Naira. . which means the better dayz are yet to come

First SIM card, How i hate to remember the amount, MTN SIM for N21,500. the sim actually came with a N1,500 sim card. I used one silly Nokia 3210, but really felt like a big boy in 2002.

i bought my first SIM card (globacom) in 2004/5 for 1 naira, i think it was 500 naira with 499 free credit. it's not only the cost of sim cards that reduced drastically, multilinks phones cost about 70k in 2000.
