@Sync201 Yes it very much is. Governments could benefit from image processing for traffic control. Sites and businesses like Konga, Glo, and so on could use more of language processing on social media to understand what their customer needs or are complaining for. Businesses could have insight based on preexisting datasets as to how a customer's interaction would be in the company. Crime detection if worked out by a Nigerian could easily be proposed to firms and governments for investment. You could use data science for stock trading and if you're good you just might get some contracts. And many more. Data science is not limited by location per se, you can research/work on projects for clients anywhere in the world. And once you know data science to a practical level, jobs are easy to come by. The disadvantage however is that it has a longer learning curve than other programming fields. 1 Like 1 Share |

yea it is... as of now data analyst is becoming the next big thing. u can dive into that and build up. with the increasing demand for data analyst in nigeria data science will surely be the next big thing. remember data keeps growing every day |
