1. The suggestion of the proposed name should be submitted to CAC(corporate affairs commission) for availability check(This will help to know if the name is available for registration or it’s already registered for another user entirely). Once the name is available, approved then it for onward process for registration.
Note: i would sugest that you have at least two-three unique names well composed before you start your registration.

2. Obtain CAC business name form which has to be filled and signature must be done and presented by whosoever is asking for registration. The form will contain the nature of the business name and address of the person seeking for registration. The business name could be formed as enterprises, ventures. For example, joe&joe Nigeria enterprises or ventures etc. the word “limited” will not be found in this class of registration. Two passports should be attached to the filled forms before submitting it back to CAC(corporate affairs commission) For final processing and issuance e.g. business name registration certificate
