Jesus Commented On Tithing (scriptures) by Jolonjolo: 10:08am On Dec 03, 2017
These are Jesus' words as regards tithing. Tithing, Mercy, Judgement and Faith are the things Jesus mentioned here, and he said we should not leave tithing undone but be focused on Mercy, Judgement and Faith. He quoted this after the corrupt administration of Judgement among the then pharisees. MATHEW 23:23

King James Version (KJV) MATHEW 23:23
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

New Living Translation (NLT) MATHEW 23:23
What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens,[a] but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.

New International Version (NIV) MATHEW 23:23
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

The Living Bible (TLB) MATHEW 23:23
Yes, woe upon you, Pharisees, and you other religious leaders—hypocrites! For you tithe down to the last mint leaf in your garden, but ignore the important things—justice and mercy and faith. Yes, you should tithe, but you shouldn’t leave the more important things undone.

Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) MATHEW 23:23
It will be bad for you teachers of the law and you Pharisees! You are hypocrites! You give God a tenth of the food you get, even your mint, dill, and cumin.[a] But you don’t obey the really important teachings of the law—being fair, showing mercy, and being faithful. These are the things you should do. And you should also continue to do those other things.

Pay your tithe, show mercy, administer good judgement and be faithful.

Let's live, Let's love, Let's help the needy and Let's push the Gospel.
