Yes it is. Tithing is The Supreme Spirit's Instrution to all humankind to save a DECUMA(Latin for Tenth and/or land tax) for growth, emergencies and development. The Lord is the Land and its fulness. So your Tithe is actually a LandTax paid for God's Land that you live upon. |
