Kenya definitely is a tech country who always love to show to Africans that they are a technology inclined country. This pothole patching machine was recently purchased to curb the menace of bad roads in Nairobi and this equipment takes three minutes to fill a pothole and come with a warranty of 10 years. If Kenya can do, why can't our FERMA buy an equipment like this to help them as it saves time and reduces cost, imagine fixing all your potholes within 3 mins? See more pictures below.

We are not ready for development yet until crude oil value is reduced to nothing where western countries will be channelling their resources into green-energy and other source of energy which reduces environmental hazards and polutions of different kinds and by so doing render our oil value to nothing... Only then, will ministry of Agriculture and farmers will be seen as rich fellas!

How much do you think fg will spend in acquiring this to fill up the death traps on our roads. IMO, they should just reconstruct those roads and they'll last for a longer time. Besides potholes wey de your roads plenty pass 1 mudu of rice in units.

Politicians won't allow the purchase of this equipment because it would block avenues for embezzlement and contract inflation. Not forget recurrent budgeting for the road repairs. tongue

Dead on arrival, this machine is too fast for Nigerian govt contractors who make silly billions through upward review of contracts after lots of unnecessary delays. Nice concept though. cool

Unfortunately it is not up to the politicians to get this machine to maintain roads but the directors of lastma, and ferma.

This machine is in Nigeria for a long time now.
One guy named "velocity" owns it and he uses it to patch roads along Osun/Ekiti axis.

And Nigeria is still fixing potholes with blocks gotten from a demolished house? Now I believe this country is cursed.

The evil form of embezzlement that happens in this country scares the shii outta ma.

This is good but I'm not sure it can work for places where the drainage has failed and rainy season potholes e.g apapa Oshodi express where some of the potholes are older than some nairalanders

Velocity Patching is already operating in Nigeria, each state government should embrace it,just like Kenya and South Africa.
