Amid the call to end the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a Magistrate's Court in Ile-Ife, Osun State, ordered that a 36-year-old man, Adegoke Adekanmi, be remanded in prison for slapping two policemen. The verdict against the accused who was arraigned on a five-count charge of felony, obstruction, assault, slapping and kidnapping, was given on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Sunday Osanyintuyi, the prosecutor on the case revealed that Adekanmi committed the alleged offences on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, around the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH), the Daily Post News reports. http://infopromoter.com/2017/12/09/man-remanded-in-prison-for-slapping-2-policemen-amid-endsars-viral-campaign/
