Taking a shower is a normal part of our everyday routine. But a lot of us don’t know that the temperature of the water we use when carrying out this daily routine can have a major effect on our health. In this post we will briefly be writing about the pros and cons of taking a hot or cold shower.

PROS

• Anxiety and Stress: Showering with hot water also reduces the anxiety and stress levels in the body.
• Exfoliation: Hot water cleanses the skin and opens up skin pores, it also scrapes up dead skin from the surface of the skin.
• Weight Loss: A hot shower can also enhance the body metabolism and aid weight loss.
CONS
• Dry Skin: Hot showers can leave your skin dry and also cause scratchy split ends on your hair.
