I need an expert on the above vehicle asap. Car won't start today. I hv got check engine on and the last scan indicated camshaft sensor issue. Funny thing is the scan has already revealed the problem. When I once had this fault on 05 xterra in 2015, I called an auto electrician instead of a mechanic. He didn't even scan. Seemed he had experienced such before.

He bought the camshaft sensor after confirming that it wasn't the fuel pump. I think I spent close to 15k including his transport and Labour. I cannot say how much it would cost now.

The sensor is located somewhere beside the front passenger tyre. He might just remove the tyre or accessible from under. Sadly I no longer have his contact number I would have sent to you. Hope this helps.
