It seems that the South Korean giant Samsung will present its new flagships, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ within a very short period of time. And according to the latest reports, the South Korean giant Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a new high-end Iris scanner which will be much secure than the iPhone X.

Samsung Galaxy S9 To Feature A New High-End Iris Scanner

We saw recently that how the South Korean giant launched its new folding smartphone, of course, I am talking about the Samsung W2018, which looks like a classic smartphone with a 4.2-inch SuperAMOLED screen, but it’s surprising that it’s a folding phone as we told earlier. Inside it also has another 4.2-inch display that shares FullHD and Gorilla Glass 5 resolution.

However, now the new rumours about the South Korean giant Samsung’s upcoming flagships, of course, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ ensure that the new “flagship looks” of the South Korean multinational arrive in stores with an iris recognition scanner with higher resolution, which would allow an improvement in the biometric security method Of the device.

Samsung would improve its iris reader in the Galaxy S9

If the rumours are true, the South Korean giant Samsung would present its new flagship within a very short time. Everything seems to indicate that the South Korean multinational would be willing to present in society the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ during the 2018 edition of the CES which will be held in Las Vegas.

It is for this reason that it has begun to generate much information related to these new smartphones. For example, as pointed out in Phonearena, a rumour indicates that these terminals would have a better biometric recognition system.

In effect, the source assures that South Korean giant Samsung would add a higher resolution to its iris reader, in order to increase the recognition rate of the sensors, which would mean reducing the time of the operation and increasing the success cases in scenarios where External factors can affect work.

In line with these rumours, several internal sources of the company -related to the topic- said that the camera’s sensor would reach 3 megapixels, increasing by one unit the resolution currently brought by the predecessors of these smartphones.

Therefore, by increasing the resolution of the sensors, the iris scanner would better recognize the users’ irides, even when they use glasses, move their eyes or find themselves in places with little luminosity.

We will have to see if the manufacturer ends up adopting this measure as the main unlocking pattern or if, in addition, it finally adds the fingerprint reader under the display of the Galaxy S9, as some rumours claim.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will have Dual SIM feature

In tune with all the rumours that are emerging under this release, we also heard the news that the manufacturer would adopt the Samsung Galaxy S9 the feature of being Dual SIM. The new Korean “beasts” would allow us to have two SIM cards in the same terminal, something that is more than important for people who have two different lines of mobile telephony.

So, what do you think about all these rumours? Can Samsung unseat the iPhone X in prominence and sales? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
