The festive period is synonymous with celebration, cooking and feasting. It is pertinent that during this period, we consciously make healthy choices in order to maintain a robust lifestyle. This is important as what we consume is central to our health. So, this season while you are up and about, endeavour to make healthy food choices, engage in routine exercise and get some rest.

In the light of the above, it noteworthy to say that not all acclaimed heart-friendly oils are healthy. In reality, most of the oils in the Nigerian market today are not as healthy as Soya Oil which is a good source of polyunsaturated fats and is considered a healthy cooking oil source by the US National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute. The Institute (as quoted on wikipedia.org) also recommended the consumption of Soya Oil over some other sources for lowering the risk of heart disease. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooking_oil)

Consumers are advised to cultivate the habit of checking the labels on the bottles of oil before buying as information about the source of the oil, its constituents and expiration are printed on them.

Grand Pure Soya Oil is a heart-friendly, edible oil produced by Grand Cereals Limited. The oil has been tagged the ‘Healthiest’ cooking Oil and is made from carefully selected high quality Soya bean seeds. It does not contain cholesterol and was the first cooking oil to be endorsed by the Nigerian Heart Foundation (NHF) and the Nutrition Society of Nigeria (NSN).

Grand Pure Soya Oil is trans-fat free and contains polyunsaturated fats which helps in the control of blood cholesterol levels by lowering the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and increasing the level of good cholesterol (HDL).

It is light and clear with sparkling golden yellow colour, pure and odourless, does not foam, fume or coagulate and flows freely even at very low temperature. It is also enriched with Vitamin A.

Customers constantly attest to the high quality of Grand Pure Soya Oil. They testify to the fact that the oil is reusable, does not evaporate nor oxidise easily. Most of all, with Grand Pure Soya Oil, you can be rest assured that you will have a sumptuous as well as a healthy meal.

Grand Pure Soya Oil comes in 0.75 litre, 2.75 litres, 3.75 litres, 4 litres, 10 litres and 18 litres jerry-cans and can be purchased at supermarkets, mini-marts, malls, shops and open markets across Nigeria.
