It's easy. Buy two laptop "skins", one for the back and the other for the keyboard/track pad layout. For the back, just stick it nicely to avoid bubbles.

For the keyboard/trackpad pad region, you will need to map out a portion you will cut off. When you are done carving out the unwanted portion, paste it carefully around the keyboard/trackpad.


PS: Make sure you use very thin laptop "skins" and avoid bubbles when sticking them to the laptop.

I've one at the back of my current laptop I've been using for a while. I'll do a full customization when I change my laptop soon.
