Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku
has failed to celebrate his last two goals for
the club having netted in consecutive games
after his horror showing at the Manchester
Derby a week ago. The Belgian striker was
negligent in the handling of defensive duties
during the game which saw City score twice
at Old Trafford ending United’s unbeaten run
at home after 40 games. Lukaku was made
the focal point of United’s loss and fans
took to social media to express their
frustration on his basic ball techniques.
Lukaku was accused of being mediocre
against the big boys not withstanding that
he was deployed in a much more defensive
approach without adequate supply from the
United midfield. Lukaku started life with the
red side of Manchester piercing the back of
the net in consecutive games
