One Kayode Omotore of Ilu Tuntun community in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State has been reportedly hacked to death by his neighbour, simply identified as Raphael following a minor disagreement that ensued between them.

Omotore, 70, was said to have been matcheted to death by his assailant while the deceased's wife, Johana, was also attacked as the alleged killer cut off some of her fingers.

According to a source, the deceased and the alleged killer always had disagreements over the issue of setting fire beside his house.

The deceased was said to have complained of smoke in his compound whenever Raphael set up the fire beside his house.
