A 57-year-old businessman, Haruna Isah, has been sentenced to 3 months imprisonment in prison for for assault, NAN reports. Isah of Utako village, Abuja, was convicted on a charge of causing grievous hurt. He pleaded guilty and begged for leniency. The Judge, Sadiq Abubakar, however, gave the convict an option of fine of N10, 000, and said that it was intended to serve as a deterrent to others.
