SpaceX Iridium makes a record year by launching 18th space of 2017

SpaceX has successfully launched his 18th space Iridium, making a record year for the private space company. In previous year they SpaceX had launched ten rockets and in this year by breaking a record they had launched 18 rockets which is a good news for all of them.

The launch today was for client Iridium, delivering 10 satellites to low Earth orbit for its Iridium NEXT communications constellation. This is the fourth such mission for the company. A flight-proven Falcon 9 rocket is used for this mission. Iridium was also the client for SpaceX’s first mission of 2017 back in January – its first flight following a pre-launch accident last September that cost it its rocket and the payload, a Facebook internet satellite.
