The forthcoming horror movie Mom & Dad has just debuted its first trailer. Nicolas Cage leads the cast of the film, which sees him alongside Selma Blair as a couple of suburban parents who are unexpectedly seized with an relentless urge to murder their kids.

A teenage girl & her little brother must survive a wild 24 hours during which a mass hysteria of unknown origins causes parents to turn violently on their own kids.

Yes, it’s truly out there, but we’re hearing some pretty positive stuff coming from the festival circuit for this one. After all, it is directed by one half of the duo that brought the Crank movies to cinemas, Brian Taylor. Anne Winters, Zackary Arthur, Olivia Croccicchia, Brionne Davis & Samantha Lemole are also amongst the cast.
