Are your lips looking all dry, flaky and chapped? Are they blackened and unattractive already? Worry and fret not!

Alright...

Here is the season when some people have got their lips looking all chapped and dry while some have got theirs looking all fresh and normal.

This is the period in Nigeria and other West African countries where humidity falls under the percentage of 15% thereby causing dryness in the environment which affects the lips as well as other parts of the body. It is such dire situation for the asthma victims.

The seasonal conditions of the weather are not literally all to blame! YOU are to be blamed. Why? Continue reading, and figure out why...

You don't...

#1 Protect your lips: Here, environmental factor is what is being considered also. This is why drinking up to 8 cups of water each day is a means of protecting the lips from getting dried as this would keep the lips well hydrated as well as hydrating the body this very dry season. Make you skin breathe. It is essential to keep the lips moist just as it is given below.

#2 Use calm, effective moisturizers or moisturizing balms: Consider using a moisturizer with [higher] SPF+ (Sun Protection Factor). These sort of moisturizers protects the skin of the lips from harmful UV rays of the sun. Also, consider moisturizers with natural ingredients like Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera is known for its multipurpose use alongside its benefits. It ameliorates, soothes and handles the skin mildly from dryness. A recommended lip moisturizer is the Aloe Lips with jojoba oil which can be easily purchased on Jumia via this link: https://www./forever-living-forever-aloe-lips-7710450.html

Botanical oils like coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, wheatgerm oil, almond oil, argan oil etc., are natural, special oils that qualify as botanical oils since they are natural. They contain rich vitamins like A, C and E with essential nutrients and anti-oxidants that refines the texture of the skin whilst hydrating and moisturizing it. If you've got severe cracked and sore lip, use a soothing balm or a product like ROBBâ„¢.

#3 Exfoliate frequently: Exfoliation is simply the process of getting rid or the removal of dead skin cells. Exfoliation is very vital for preventing skin ageing. Exfoliation not just only helps in the removal of dead skin cells, but helps keep the skin looking soft, smooth and alive. The best time to exfoliate the lips is both morning and night. How is the lips exfoliated? A soft, mild bristle toothbrush is key. While a toothbrush is used for scrubbing or washing the teeth, it is also commonly used to gently exfoliate dead skin cells off the lip just like a body scrub is used to scrub off dirts and dead skin cells away from the skin. This helps in maximizing blood flow on the lips.

#4 Rid your lips from dirts: More often than not, we are more likely to acquire and sustain dirts on the lips. How possible? Often when we eat, we eat with our mouth crunching and munching the food while tiny bits of the food remains on the lips. This could be oils from foods and other tiny particles. Thereafter, after the comestible has been consumed, we never tend to clean our lip and its region with a clean napkin or tissue. These tiny particles and oils remain and dry, and then results to the dead skin cells on the lips. This also, is what processes and hasten darkening of the lips too. Therefore, after each meal, the lip should be cleaned with a clean napkin or tissue. This prevent formation of dead skin cells and dark patches on the skin of the lips. This is also why daily exfoliation is necessary to prevent ageing lips. Exfoliation is required on this part.

Finally, this is way to go on how you can acquire a healthy lip. There's nothing more like having healthy lips that defines your personality. Chapped and cracked lips are unappealing. Follow the processes and procedures above very frequently while the patient dog eats the fattest bone. That is, be patient while you would revel in what you deserve; a soft, smooth, moisturized and healthy lips.
