Promismike: When you write like this, you are directly referring to us, who campaigned for Buhari and convinced people to vote for him. Be rest assured that most of us are tired and have resolved to shop for another Messiah since we have always maintained to continue to search and hope for the best in this uncertainty call Nigeria. The question is who as we are not ripe to enthrone proven young people that can show us the light. Chinua Achebe who believed that there was a country outlined that we need two things that will cause every other things fall in place (Not apart) in Nigeria's fractured system. 1, Aim to perfect free and fair elections. 2, Make government positions extremely less attractive. The first will introduce sanity, meritocracy, appreciation of human input and host of other socially reparative factors while the later will try to sideline those who should not be in government, MDAs and others. Even though it has been contended that that will also give way to political power monopoly since religion can never be underestimated, it must not be overlooked. Let's continue to search for a better President or give up on Nigeria as the future is not bright in the eyes of those that can see their future and that of the younger generation. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Promismike:I agree with you in many ways but you must know that these countries suffered too. Lee Kuan Yew struggled with Singapore. Lee kuan yew was called incompetent, he was called sectional, he was accused of opposing the freedom of press and also of witch hunting opponents. Lee, did trial and error with different options before solving the unemployment problem in Singapore by crashing unemployment rate from 13% to 1.7% and it took him 30 years to achieve that. Nothing good comes easy. We keep destroying our country by defending corrupt politicians using the 'witch hunt song thinking we are punishing Buhari we don't know we are dealing with ourselves. 3 Likes 1 Share |

TEYA:I never read that lee kean yew was called incompetent or that his reforms and governance brought suffering and hardship to Singapore at anytime. Though he was kind of autocratic in his leadership and had his share of criticism from the oppositions which he never tolerated. Never was he called incompetent and at no time did his reforms and governance brought suffering and hardship to Singapore. Unless you are writing another history. 1 Like |

Promismike:Read the screenshots attached and find out for yourself that Lee Kwan yew was no saint and he had shortfalls and that the rise to greatness was not so easy for Singaporeans. We think we can spend 60 years destroying our country and build it in 4 years? See the way we celebrate drug traffickers, prostitutes, Yahoo boys and thieving politicians and think an angelic president will descend from heaven to fix our country for us. We have glorified touts as senators but they are heroes to nigerian youths, we have thieves as leaders and each time one of them is arrested we scream 'witch hunt' when even their own children don't try to defend them in public. We can change presidents a million times but nothing will change if our attitude does not change. Even the Singapore we always love to mention, our youths are still going there trying to destroy it with drugs, if they ask us we will say it's Buhari. Lol do we think Singapore became great by promoting Yahoo Yahoo and prostitution and terrorism? We should sit our butts up and work and hold leaders accountable and not be worshippers of money. 1 Like 2 Shares

TEYA:Then we need a man who wont be selective in his fight against corruption. We need a man who runs an inclusive government not a nepotistic leader. We need a man who is not a bigot. We need a man who is a unifying figure no a divisive leader. We need a who is abreast with trend and changes that require constructive approach. 3 Likes 1 Share |
