So many men who claimed to be fathers are becoming obviously arrogant and unperturbed. Some fathers needs to visit a psychiatrist. Some fathers are mentally deformed. A father that tells you that a girl does not need to go to school only the boy child is not a father but a feather. Every girl-child needs to go to school. Every girl child should be sent to school to learn. She needs education to survive in a male-dominated society. There are more benefits of educating the girl-child than the boy-child. Have we not heard the saying “Educate a boy you educate the entire individual; educate a girl you educate the entire world? This saying is unanimously accepted. It is indisputable globally.



It is necessary that our girl-child should go to school so that she will overcome domestic violence, sexual abuse, early child marriage, early child birth, violence and discrimination, etc. If you educate your girl child, the whole family is educated.

We were told a story of a young man whose parents trained up to University level fortunately, he graduated and secured a Job in MTN , that pays him handsomely. This same man secured an apartment for his parents, but, later turned around and ordered his own parents. When the mother asked him where did he expect them to go? Guess what this young man told his mother? He said you can go to anywhere you wish, even in the bush, you can leave there. Isn't this appalling? If it is a girl- child that had the opportunity this young man had, she will never turn back against her parents.

Dear parents, never you make the mistake of investing all your resources on your boy child education because he is a boy and leave the girl-child stranded. That boy that you invested so much will disappoint you even disgraces you publicly. Let it be fifty-fifty.

Do not neglect your girl-child because, she is a girl. That girl you neglected will become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, astronaut, neurosurgeon, and lecturer, etc. Do not fail to educate your girl- child. Give her the necessary support she needs to go to school and become productive to the society.
