Family roles are overrated. The roles of the home are numerous. Family is a given set of people living together with a common head and others.
1. WHO IS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAMILY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
This should be well stated by the head of the family and every other members of the family are to be briefed oh how the finance of the family is to be run and those to be part of the running of the financial transactions.
2. DIVISION OF CHORE:
The idea of anyone will do it does not work perfectly and it has shown that a man with responsibility becomes responsible, There works of the family should be share with consideration of gender and traditional rule and culture.
3. WHO MAKES THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE:
The head of the family is suppose to be the one that brings the exception to the rules of the family. often time there have be issues where everyone wants to change the rules.
4. KEEPING THE CIRCLE SMALL:
This is a golden rule of a family, since a lot says family bid everything but keeping the family circle is a rule that bind the family beyond their our imagination. Their is not friend in between the family neither is their business or support.
5. ALL FOR ONE:
The family business is everyone business and the hurts of the family bid everyone hurts same with the high connect and the down slide. Never leave a family need unattended to. There is a rule that covers it all is LOVE.

I don't get how this portrays gender equality. All I see there is head of house has exception to the rule, make kids work according to gender and some other head of family roles.

Boy o, girl o, any can sweep house, wash clothes learn how to change car Tyre or fuel filter with Dad, fetch water, drive car, cut/plait hair , learn to cook and care for younger siblings etc. Na una Sabi how una feel say one gender can be excused from one and the other made to do one.

Train your children right. boys or girls they both have equal potential in making the family blessed. Many families have single gender kids Dem still dey function well.

Gender equality is more than the idea of training of male child and a female child, There is a role that everyone has to to play in the family aside not withstanding your gender.
One of the rules sates that keep the circle small. it is said that females gender tends to tell more about their family tales to their foes but it has no prove to show that that analyses are true.
Gender equality has gone pass the phase of house works but it tells generally about how the mind of a the sexes are built for the development of the family.
