When it comes to literature what could be more fascinating and original than reading an epic African tale depicting her history, tradition and rich cultural heritage? My answer is nothing. Africa is natures warmest nest and our stories should speak the very essence of mother nature.
From West Africa, writers Like Flora Nwapa, Chinua Achebe, Ayi kwei Armah, JP Clark, Wole Soyinka, Cyprene Ekwensi, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and many other greats, easily come to mind. Their rich stories stole our hearts, wowing and unsettling many people around the world, with their unique writing expressions; unwrapping a shroud of Africa’s brilliance and complex societies, with immense contributions to world civilization.
At the moment, writers and publishers are taking giants strides with their stories into rich artistic forms & imagery with graphics illustrations of African societies across many platforms. Now just imagine ‘Okonkwo’, the fearless Character’s imagery, in the famous book, ‘Things fall Apart’ or the fascinating personality of ‘Ugwu’, Odenigbo’s houseboy in ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’.
All this and more are now made easy and possible @ GMIS Graphics illustrations. We simply make your rich stories, interesting ideas and concepts come alive. In New Year of 2018 and still into the future, many more rich African stories are eagerly anticipated globally, Such as the first Novel in the soon unfolding ‘Idika series’. Check out the graphics of an upcoming epic story “Idika and the Twin Prophecy”, writen by Anthony N. Ukwa (Ohafia Prince) or find out more @ www.idikaseries.com
