Leaked: No Victor Moses In Caf's Official XI by KOKSNATION: 7:58pm On Jan 04, 2018 |
The #AiteoCAFAwards kicks-off today with the event starting in about minutes at the International Conference Center, Accra Ghana. However, CAF conducted an online poll on their official twitter handle in weeks to put together an official CAF XI to be announced today during the award gala. The big and sad news is Nigeria's Chelsea Winger Victor Moses did not make the cut as he lost by 1% vote to Moroccan N. Ounnajem. Moses who earlier was beaten by Liverpool's Mo' Salah to the BBC African Player of the Year award in December 2017 also did not make the final cut for the 3-man shortlist of the African player of the Year loosing out to Borussia Dortmund and Gabon striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Liverpool duo of Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Mohammed Salah (Egypt). Here is the official XI in a 3-4-3 formation as put together by online voters GK: DENNIS ONYANGO (UGANDA) 51% VOTE DF: AHMED FATHY (AL-AHLY - EGYPT) 89% VOTE ALI MAALOUL (AL AHLY - TUNISIA) 81% VOTE WILLIAMS TROOST-EKONG (BURSASPOR - NIGERIA) 71% VOTE MF: KARIM EL AHMADI (MOROCCO) 63% VOTE CMF: JR. AJAYI (AL AHLY - NIGERIA) 64% VOTE LMF: A BENCHARKI (WAC - MOROCCO) 62% VOTE RMF: M. OUNNAJEM (WAC - MOROCCO) 47% VOTE FW: KHALED BOUTAIB (MOROCCO) 59% VOTE TAHA KENEISI (ESPERANCE) 56% VOTE MOHAMMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL - EGYPT) 93% VOTE More details at: https://koksnation..com.ng/2018/01/leaked-no-victor-moses-in-official-caf.html |
