Ka ma puro ka ma jale, even when we did a list of best  rap songs on 2009, these were the tracks people voted for.
This is as good as it gets. . . I don't know how anyone will call a list the best rap singles of last year and leave any of these out.

SWTD was to me, as good as it gets in Naija rap . . . top 5 Naija songs of the last decade.
Sample's production is heaven, artistic with the way they even had some part that weren't clear to point out that it was a sample . . .
Finest had Yoruba sounding like Jay-Z . . .
Owo Ati Swagger . . . that was voice of the whole 'swagga' era that got everyone copying it.
Ako Mi Ti Poju . . . another one that is just sick with the club spins and Naeto-C's voice.

All of them had creative production, great lyrics, intelligent marketing, nice videos(except SWTD).
Hiphop World got this right 100%.

I seriously don't see what Modenine was doing on the list for Badman . . . come on.

I don't know how someone that claims to be using both sides of his brain will come out to say Somebody Wants to Die was 'nothing spectacular' but goes on to say Hiphop World Awards should nominate a song just because a 4-year old said 'put that song on repeat'.

I think the choice of Danger was heavily influenced by their cred in the rest of Africa.
