Thankfully she's abroad, not here where her talents would be frustrated. Her future contributions to engineering in the West, is what we'll be buying and using as innovations in 15-25 years.

University professors (the real ones, not the many charlatans that infest our universities) have proffered many solutions over the years... it's just that our government - and our society at large - ignores and frustrates them. I've read quite a few papers from Nigerian universities on many topics ranging from solar insolation, cassava yields, metallurgy, herbal medicine and I'm really impressed - and saddened that our country is just wasting all its talented people.
