BlackBerry is launching three smartphones in 2018, all running on the Android operating system and featuring physical keyboards. Many thought Blackberry was dead after ending support for its native BlackberryOS and porting to the Android OS for its smartphones, but the company released the BlackBerry Priv and some other smartphones running Android last year.

However, the company claims that retaining the physical keyboard on its devices last year helped bring people back to Blackberry, but they had to add extra features that made the keypad similar to a touchscreen and easy to use.
