Hello Nairalanders, Please any one vast with importation should help. I intend to bring so baby items that are not registered. How do I go about it and besides my business is not yet registered, which posses a limitation to getting form "m" . Thanks.

Do the right thing don't smuggle.
First register ur company with CAC #15k biz name or 60k incorporation
Then take sample to Nafdac for registration.

Thanks. I don't intend to smuggle. I just want to know the exact procedure to avoid confiscation. I was told I need SONCAP certification??

hupo:If the quantity isn't much (sample) you can go ahead and import without that as it is personal use.
But for commercial quantity you need SONCAP. The manufacturer obtains it after a visit to their factory by SON officials but they usually charge importer a small fee to process the certificate.
