Real Madrid could use Cristiano Ronaldo as part of a deal to land PSG star Neymar in the next summer, reports the El Larguero radio show on Cadena SER.


Florentino Perez's obsession for Neymar is not a secret. Real Madrid president wants to bring the Brazilian into his side in the next summer and is willing to do anything to fulfill his wish, even parting with his superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking in early December, Perez didn't hide his wish at all: "Being at Real Madrid would make it easier for Neymar to win the Ballon d'Or. Real Madrid is a club that gives big players what they need."

Florentino Perez has been looking Neymar for a while. Before Neymar left for PSG from Barcelona, Real Madrid had already made contact with the Brazilian star. However, it is basically impossible for Real Madrid to directly sign Neymar, or any player from Barcelona. But now, the European Champions may have its chance.

At the moment, the main difficluty of the potential deal is that PSG absolutely don't want to let Neymay leave the club. And that's where Cristiano Ronaldo comes into play: Perez is willing to use Ronaldo as part of the deal to convince PSG, with of course a huge amount of money.


Ronaldo is about to turn 33 years old and his dropped from has been an indisputable fact, especially in the current season, for the Portuguese man only scored 4 league goals so far. Real Madrid now sit 16 points behind their rivals Barcelona.

The idea of the Real Madrid president is to make his move in July, once the 2018 Russia World Cup finishes, to start his operation.
